LOST Season Finale

*

Spoiler Alert:

Just a few points:
Anyone else think that the writer's didn't know last year who was in the coffin? I was heartbroken when I saw who it was.
Are we really to believe that Locke turned out to be a bad guy? Or at least that's how I interpreted things...

I bawled when Penny and Desmond reunited.

I still don't want to believe that Jin is dead.

How will the next two season's unfold?

Will they be about the Oceanic Six trying to find the island and the series finale will have them finally finding it and realizing it's where they are meant to be?

Will we see how Locke becomes an egomaniac? Or was he really a bad guy all along and just fooling everyone?

*Best part of last night's episode: when Sawyer came up on shore without his shirt. Hubba hubba.

Here's a pic for my male readers:

Go Cubs Go!

This is G-man's first year of T-ball. He seems to like it. We were lucky enough to be put on the team that we love.

SNL digital short The Japanese version of The Office

Thoughts on last week's season finale?

Star Wars: Pez Wars

I especially like who they cast as Obi-Wan.

Happy Mother's Day to me...

and to all the other moms out there.

I am beyond blessed to be their mom.

A very short update on my kids...

G-man got a haircut. Apparently putting gel in his hair aged him about eight years.

Little Brother (also got a haircut) has been a huge Indiana Jones fan for a while now. I love that number IV is coming out because there is an overload of merchandise to choose from.

Because I love my readers...

Even though 75% of my blogroll did not leave a comment for the last post, I am going to go ahead and post a picture of me wearing glasses and standing next to a fellow blogger*. Could those frames have been any bigger?

If you were thinking Geo's complexion is a little "off," it should be noted that he is wearing stage make-up.

I'm pretty sure this picture was taken when I had a crush on him. I was probably too distracted to bother taking off my glasses for the picture.

This picture was taken April 1988, the month we both turned 16.
*Personal note to Geo: I hope you aren't mad at me for posting this.

I didn't think "The Office" was that funny tonight.

Although I totally got the whole Pam wearing the eyeglasses storyline.

I hate hate hate going out in public with my eyeglasses. I've worn glasses since fourth grade and have always felt like eyeglasses make me look even dorkier than I already am.

When there was a huge meningitis scare at the University of Illinois, a bunch of people went and took pills that would lower your risk of catching meningitis. But I heard that if you took them you couldn't wear contact lenses, so I chose to not take the pills. I risked catching meningitis so I wouldn't have to wear my glasses in public.

During one college summer job, I had to wear my eyeglasses because I had allergies (I was on the lawn crew) and my eyes were in pain if I wore contacts. But I didn't wear my eyeglasses all the time, just when I had to drive or read something...I distinctly remember putting my glasses on and one of the guys I worked with said a comment similar to Kevin's...something about how my glasses made me look like a librarian...but even though it was a compliment, I still felt utterly unattractive.

It's different than vanity...it strikes a deep core of feeling like a dorky ten-year-old all over again.

But, I love my readers and if I can get at least 75% of the people on my blogroll to comment*, I will post a picture of myself from high school wearing glasses.*

*or get at least five non-anonymous lurkers to comment.

**the picture is of me standing next to a person in my blogroll. I hope he forgives me if I end up posting the picture.

LOST 5/1/08

SPOILER ALERT:

How awesome was tonight's episode? I was glad to see so much flash-forward plot shown...I thought that last week's episode was not as interesting.

I totally predicted that the redhead could speak Korean.

I thought it was cool/interesting/mind boggling to see Jack and Kate "playing house," but deep down, I was jonesing for some Sawyer and Kate heat.

Jack was reading Alice In Wonderland, right?

I liked the appendectomy (for those that don't know, I had one in September 2006)...I'd like to compare scars with Jack.

I think Island-Kate is at least 10x more beautiful than Rescued/Cleaned-Up-Kate. I don't like the way they make her hair look so perfectly curled in the flash-forwards. And those dressy outfits just aren't as flattering as tank tops and cargo pants. She's one of those woman that is more attractive/sexy without make-up (I hate/am insanely jealous of women like that!)

Is it just me, or does the Asian ghost-buster look like a catfish?*

*I had too much fun "painting" those whiskers and gills on...it's almost midnight and I'm slap happy. If you walked in right now, you'd think I'd need to get a room next to Hurley.
